The city of Makarska (13 500 inhabitants) is one of the most beautiful places at the Croatian coast. It is a typical Dalmatian city with extraordinary beauty, located in-between two peninsulas, Osejava and St. Peter, and below the Biokovo Mountain. There is a promenade leading from the city center to the beaches with different boutiques, restaurants, cafes, patisseries and souvenir shops. Makarska is a very green city with several parks and woods. Good weather conditions allow enjoying sports and recreation throughout the whole year.
